It Turns Out Also Can be Subject to Fish Skin Cancer

Local fishermen in the waters of Australia, found the fish "Rambo" which indicate the presence of scars in their body parts. Researchers revealed, in addition to the wound, the skin was blackened fish, indicating a skin cancer on the body of the animal.

Fish are known to be kind Trout, who lives in the Great Barrier Reef, Australia. Fish is inviting the attention of researchers, including Michael Sweet at Newcastle University, UK.

Sweet and his team put aside the notion that wound and blackening of the skin color of the fish is a fungal disease. Looks like the spot melanoma in humans, fish Trout species was actually suffering from the symptoms of skin cancer.

According to the journal PLoS One, the most likely cause of skin cancer related to the trout that live in fresh water, is caused by the ozone hole. Ozone hole has increased in the radiation and may explain the high prevalence of the disease by 15 percent of fish samples.

Wikipedia explains, Trout is a fish species that live in fresh water. Said Trout used as part of the name of non-salmonid fishes such as cynoscion nebulosus.

Trout has a close kinship with the salmon and char. Animals that live in water with a temperature of 10-16 degrees Celsius, it becomes a source of food for humans and wildlife, including brown bears and birds of prey like hawks.
